In case you hadn’t noticed, I’ve recently had a review published of the website on Gilles Roy’s site, Amateurmusicians.net. Head over there and check it out. He’s also got some really excellent articles there - I especially liked the one “black slab of spirited energy” - talking about how musicians can get bad vibes, and why a certain building in Winnipeg gives him bad vibes.
While I’m at it, I’m going to give some shout-outs to some other people that I’ve seen linked to my site.
First off, Anna at Life of a Musician - Robin Hill, has added me to her blogroll, and also mentioned me in a post. Big cheerio to her and Robin (who’s just recently gotten back from a performing trip on board the QE2)
Chris Foley over at The Collaborative Piano, I’ve already mentioned is doing 31 Days to Better Practicing, and linked to me in his Practice Links post.
Gottagopractice is spending October focussing on practice, and Cellogal has added me to her blogroll.
Cheers to everyone who’s added links to me, and if You’ve linked to me and I haven’t seen it, send me off an email to ben (at) musicpracticetips (dot) com
Also, you’ve probably noticed that I haven’t posted any Weekly Teaching Tips. I’ve decided just to focus on practice for this blog, keep it to one thing and do really well at it. However, if you really want some tips for teaching, head over to So You Want To Teach? - a great blog with lots of tips for teachers.
